Some radar guns were never approved for enforcing speed limits laws (issuing speeding tickets) on public roadways. Did anyone receive these type of speeding tickets?

Recently, my office has received several phone calls concerning strange radar units. After reviewing the discovery provided to the defendant, we determined the unit had odd outputs and issues with stability, which directly violates state and federal regulations and laws.
